"If there are any Jaffa Cakes missing, I'll know who took them," Nicholas's muffled voice broke the sleepy silence.
"Who?" I asked, curious but fully aware that he was talking in his sleep.
"You," came the quite 'obvious' reply.
"Because [mumble mumble]."
"Because you're the only one who grows them. OK, I'm awake now."
Then I said he could plant the Jaffa Cake trees in the secret garden I'd dreamt about the night before, accessible through a series of hidden passageways in a secret basement of a very large house.
It's not the first time I've dreamt about a large house with secret passageways and hidden rooms.
